“ਕਾਨੂੰਨ” ਇੱਕ ਲਾਜ਼ਮੀ ਨਿਯਮ ਹੈ। “ਅਧਿਕਾਰਤ ਮਾਰਗਦਰਸ਼ਨ” ਕਾਨੂੰਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਨਿਰੀਖਕ ਇਸਦੀ ਉਮੀਦ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। “Chef Hygiene ਡਿਫਾਲਟ” ਇੱਕ ਮੁੱਲ ਹੈ ਜਿਸਦੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਐਪ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਨਿਯਮ ਨੰਬਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।

• ਕਾਨੂੰਨFire extinguishers and other fire equipment: checked at least once a year (Codex over het welzijn op het werk, art. III.3-22 §1). Keep the dates and findings.
• ਕਾਨੂੰਨEvacuation drill for staff: at least once a year (Codex, art. III.3-26 §2).
• ਕਾਨੂੰਨLow-voltage electrical installations are inspected every 5 years by an accredited inspection body (AREI/RGIE).
• ਕਾਨੂੰਨGas, heating and electrical installations must be checked periodically (Codex, art. III.3-22 §2). There is no national interval for gas. The town or fire zone sets it.
• ਅਧਿਕਾਰਤ ਮਾਰਗਦਰਸ਼ਨHood and ducts have no national cleaning interval. In Brussels, operators must have them cleaned regularly by a specialist firm and be able to prove it.
