“कानून” एक बाध्यकारी नियम है। “आधिकारिक मार्गदर्शन” कानून नहीं है, लेकिन निरीक्षक इसकी अपेक्षा करते हैं। “Chef Hygiene डिफ़ॉल्ट” एक ऐसा मान है जिसकी जाँच ऐप द्वारा की जाती है जहाँ कोई नियम संख्या नहीं देता है।

• आधिकारिक मार्गदर्शनThe 14 EU allergens apply. For food that is not prepacked, Mattilsynet (June 2025) says the information must be in writing and in Norwegian, shown with the word “Inneholder” (contains) by each dish, on a poster or on a screen.
• आधिकारिक मार्गदर्शनSpeaking, a QR code or a screen may be added but cannot replace the written information. Guests must find it without asking.
• कानूनFood information for guests must be in Norwegian or a language spelled like it. English may be added, not used instead (matinformasjonsforskriften, § 2).
