What your kitchen must tell customers about allergens.
Checked
“Law” is a binding rule. “Official guidance” is not law, but inspectors expect it. “Chef Hygiene default” is a value the app checks against where no rule gives a number.
- LawThe 14 allergens of the Turkish Food Codex labelling regulation (Annex 1, the same list as the EU) must be shown for food served in restaurants.
- LawThe information must be in writing: on a poster, a board or the menu. Telling customers only when they ask is not enough.
