United Arab Emirates: allergens
What your kitchen must tell customers about allergens.
Checked
“Law” is a binding rule. “Official guidance” is not law, but inspectors expect it. “Chef Hygiene default” is a value the app checks against where no rule gives a number.
- LawDubai: 9 allergen groups (crustaceans, peanuts, soybeans, tree nuts, sesame, fish, egg, milk and cereals with gluten) on the label or the menu, or given when a customer asks (the Dubai Food Code 3.4.3). We advise the same in every emirate.
