Mexico: allergens
What your kitchen must tell customers about allergens.
Checked
“Law” is a binding rule. “Official guidance” is not law, but inspectors expect it. “Chef Hygiene default” is a value the app checks against where no rule gives a number.
- Official guidanceFor packaged food, the label names cereals with gluten, eggs, crustaceans, fish, molluscs, peanuts, soy, milk, tree nuts, and sulphites of 10 mg/kg or more (NOM-051). We found no rule that makes a restaurant show allergens; telling customers what is in each dish is our advice.
