“ਕਾਨੂੰਨ” ਇੱਕ ਲਾਜ਼ਮੀ ਨਿਯਮ ਹੈ। “ਅਧਿਕਾਰਤ ਮਾਰਗਦਰਸ਼ਨ” ਕਾਨੂੰਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਨਿਰੀਖਕ ਇਸਦੀ ਉਮੀਦ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। “Chef Hygiene ਡਿਫਾਲਟ” ਇੱਕ ਮੁੱਲ ਹੈ ਜਿਸਦੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਐਪ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਨਿਯਮ ਨੰਬਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।

• ਕਾਨੂੰਨEvery workplace has an emergency plan with evacuation procedures, how to tell emergency services, and testing of the procedures; the law sets no interval for the testing (model WHS Regulations, r 43; Victoria has its own OHS regulations).
• ਕਾਨੂੰਨQueensland only: an evacuation practice at least every year, with a record; evacuation instructions every year; first-response instructions every 2 years and within a month for a new worker (Building Fire Safety Regulation 2008).
